The MAIJA series is made from washed linen-cotton-tencel material. The products are woven in Lapua, Finland using Masters of Linen long staple linen yarn, grown and spun in Europe, and tencel-cotton yarn made in Europe according the Öko-Tex standard.

Tencel is made from pure wood pulp and its entire production is Eco-Friendly. This special material which was innovated by Lapuan Kankurit is extremely absorbent, light weight and quick to dry.

We love to use these as face cloths but they can also be used in the kitchen.

Care instructions: Delicate laundry wash at 40°C. Do not use softener and bleach. Normal spin cycle. Reshape whilst damp. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. We do not recommend tumble dryer.
